Albert Schweitzer, OM was a German—and later French—theologian, organist, philosopher, physician, and medical missionary in Africa, also known for his interpretive life of Jesus.
He published basic works concerning theology, religious philosophy and history of music. He was an excellent organ player and interpreter of Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750).
