The House Of 1000 Mirrors

Read below a moral story.

In a distant village long ago, there was a special House of 1000 Mirrors. A cheerful little dog heard about it and decided to pay a visit. With excitement, he bounded up the stairs and reached the doorway of the house. Eagerly, he peered inside, his ears perked up and his tail wagging rapidly. To his astonishment, he found himself surrounded by 1000 other joyful little dogs, wagging their tails just as enthusiastically. A big smile spread across his face, and he received 1000 warm and friendly smiles in return. Leaving the House, he thought happily, “This place is amazing! I will come back often to visit.”

In the same village, another little dog, not as happy as the first one, also decided to visit the House. He climbed the stairs slowly, his head hanging low as he looked into the door. When he saw 1000 dogs that seemed unfriendly, staring back at him, he growled in fear. To his horror, 1000 little dogs growled back at him. Hurriedly, he left, thinking to himself, “That place is terrible, and I will never go back there again.”

The moral of the story is that all the faces we encounter in the world act as mirrors. The reflections we see depend on the attitude we carry. What kind of reflections do you see in the faces of the people you meet?
